Renewable Energy Focus Group Networking Event
Irish Thai Chamber of Commerce’s Renewable Energy Focus Group organized a networking evening on Wednesday, 25 March at Hemingway’s. Members and friends joined the discussion with guest speaker: Jason Dunn on the topic “KICKING THE TYRES ON A NEW WASTE RECYCLING TECHNOLOGY”
A former head of private equity for Lehman Brothers, Japan, Jason is the Head of Asia for GREEN DISTILLATION TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION (GDTC)(www.gdtc6.com).
GDTC, headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, has developed a proprietary technology to recycle waste tyres into saleable commodities including carbon, oil and steel. GDTC’s technology presents a significant advancement over existing pyrolysis technologies and this innovation has resulted in GDTC’s nomination as a 2015 finalist in the prestigious Edison Awards (www.edisonawards.com), the results to be announced in April.
Jason provided an overview of the global benefits, environmental and financial, of recycling waste tyres and how GDTC utilises its unique technology in solving this huge existing and growing problem.
This is the latest in a series of Renewable Energy events organised by the Irish Thai Chamber of Commerce designed to inform participants of current trends and provide an opportunity for business networking.
