The Irish Thai, BeluThai and Netherlands Chambers co-hosted an informal networking evening on Wednesday 29 October at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Hotel. More than 70 members and non-members from all three chambers joined the event for a drink and a chat with old friends and the opportunity to get to know some new faces. Prior to the networking there was a brief seminar on the new Computer Crime Act that was very well attended. Depending on the interpretation, this act may have far-reaching implications for our member companies. We heard from two specialists: Paul Connelly, Partner at International Legal Counsellors Thailand, and Bernard Collin, CEO of Safecoms and member of the ICT Committee of the Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce Thailand. We have a very useful handout about the Act written by Paul Connelly which is available to members. Please contact the Chamber for a copy. There was very good attendance at the seminar
The Sheraton provided an excellent spread
Our President, Jerome Kelly with our Treasurer, Tony Tyrrell.
